Client's Testimonials
The painting is absolutely amazing and perfectly meets all the specifications which I explained to you. In my humble opinion it is an excellent interpretation of Jesus 'The Great High Priest' and we are thrilled with the end result. My vision was to have a painting of Jesus which reflects his glory, majesty and priesthood rather than to just have him hanging on a cross as is so commonly depicted. James, you have a great gift for prophetic artwork and I bless you for your efforts on this commission. It takes someone special to be able to correctly interpret and paint someone else's vision. Should anyone require similar artwork, I will definitely recommend you.

Michael Marcel based in London first saw an original painting by James when visiting neighbouring friends. He had a concept of a picture he wanted painted and had been looking for nearly 5 years for an artist to translate the image he had in his mind onto canvass.

James was ready to take on the challenge, especially as it would be his first experience in using oils,
and Michael, who was keenly involved throughout the process, was absolutely delighted with the finished 'Work of Art' |
"It took my breath away. 'Baby' is scared of cameras but whilst James was here for an hour taking photos, he captured her eyes better in the painting than the photos. That look in her eyes doesn't come round that often but James captured it perfectly. When 'Baby' and 'Sapphire' stood in front of each other's portraits on the wall, they stared at them and barked! Characteristics are hard to portray but James did it, without a doubt, that man is gifted - briilliant!"

"We were delighted with the picture of Calum and Ella. Not only have you totally captured their looks but because of the small but so important detail, you have also captured their character. In an age of digital photography it makes you appreciate so much, the skill necessary to capture our children so perfectly with just the aid of paint and brush. Your picture of Calum and Ella is as accurate in looks and character, as all of our photographs!"

"I just cannot describe the pleasure I get from looking at the fantastically life-like portrait of 'Charlie' the Soay Lamb. I'm sure he was not an easy subject to paint but you have his likeness perfectly. It is as if he is standing waiting for me to feed him - the only thing missing is his constant 'baaaaaa'. There are about 300 miles between my home in Surrey and Charlie's home in North Yorkshire, but the distance vanishes when I look at his picture, as I feel he is here with me in the room and I get a warm, happy feeling from it!"
Mrs J Wall , Surrey, England

"The portrait of my dogs, Eddy and Sky, is the most beautiful thing I've seen and I will treasure it always. My dogs are my joy and my life and you have captured the spirit of them in a way I wouldn't have thought possible.
Thank you a million times."

"...they are incredibly life-like elephants that literally jump out of the picture at you! Some people have to look at the painting two or even three times before they realise it is actually a painting rather than a photograph"
Mr T. Pocock, Jena, Germany.

"Thankyou for the wonderful portrait of our cat, Bridget. It is a masterpiece and we are delighted. You have captured her features perfectly. Many congratulations and many thanks."
